About the position
This is a rewarding long-term career opportunity to work with all levels of the Kiddie Academy® Educational Child Care corporate team, as well as our franchisees as they make an impact in communities across the country. As the Academy Opening Manager, you will work to support pre-open Academies throughout the state licensing process and act as a resource for building pre-opening enrollment through training and coaching on Kiddie Academy’s enrollment experience. You will work in collaboration with other departments, such as Marketing, Construction, and Education. Much of the coaching and support is accomplished virtually, though some travel to pre-open locations across the country is required (approximately 4-5 trips annually). The Academy Opening Manager also plays a role in delivering in person training to franchisees and Directors during corporate hosted trainings. This position is based in our corporate office located in Abingdon, Maryland.

Your Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience with education, sales, marketing and business management. Childcare Director experience preferred.
- Process driven but creative and innovative
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve business objectives
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, work independently
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization
- Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
