Job Title: Full-Time Childcare Director

Job Overview: Angels of Mine Childcare Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Full-Time Childcare Director to lead and oversee our early childhood education programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering the growth and development of children while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the childcare center, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations.
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculums, programs, and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Lead and manage a team of early childhood educators and staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to health, safety, and nutrition standards.
Build positive relationships with parents, children, and the community, providing excellent customer service and communication.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with licensing requirements.
Collaborate with staff to implement developmentally appropriate practices and individualized learning plans.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, or a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential.
Previous experience in childcare management or a similar role is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Maryland state childcare licensing regulations (COMAR).
Ability to build positive relationships with staff, children, and parents.
